📢 Public Service Announcement – Respecting the Space

Hi everyone,

We want to take a moment to address a few important points to help us maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful space for all members of this recovery community.

  1. Personal Conduct in the Room: We’ve recently had some disruptions during meetings, including conversations about other people's personal lives and behavior that is not aligned with the spirit of recovery. Please remember: meetings are not a place to speak about someone else’s private matters—especially if they are present or part of this community. If there’s a concern or conflict, reach out privately to the facilitator team. We are here to help.

  2. Under the Influence: We want to be clear—you are always welcome in the room, even if you're struggling or under the influence. However, we ask that you exercise care and responsibility:

If you're not sober, keep your camera off for the duration of the meeting.

Avoid sharing if what’s coming through is the substance, not your heart.

That said, if you truly have something important to share, something that comes from you, not the drug or the drink—we will never censor you. Just act with intention and awareness.

  1. This is a sobriety-first space. Facilitators are here to ensure that everyone feels safe, heard, and respected. Let’s each do our part by keeping shares centered on our own experience, and by treating the space and each other with care.

Thank you all for being here. Recovery is built on trust, and your respect for these guidelines helps make this space strong and welcoming for everyone.
